MUSIC: "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B"
JOHN:
I'm John Bugler, and I approved this message.
JOHN:
As a member of the New York State Assembly,
I will devote every effort to improving our community,
and tackling the problems we face everyday, here on Long Island,
such as:
- Beach Erosion,
- Traffic Congestion,
- Finding the Right Balance between
- Working to earn a living, and
- Raising a family.
VOICE1:
John Bugler in the Assembly
will bring focus to these important issues,
with innovative solutions to improve Long Island.
-
JOHN:
We must arrest erosion of our precious beaches!
In the Assembly, I will promote proven technologies
for stabilizing the undercurrent,
as has been done successfully to stop beach erosion in Florida.
VOICE1:
(You can see details of this solution on the website at "bugler.org" .)
-
JOHN:
As a former Civil Engineer in the New York State Department of Transportation,
I know what works to solve traffic problems,
such as the "Oakdale Merge".
In the Assembly, I will spearhead new DOT initiatives and studies,
aimed at solving these and other traffic problems.
VOICE2:
John Bugler has the credentials to pursue this vital goal.
He was named "Engineer of The Year" in 1986,
and recieved the "Productivity Award" from Governor Mario Cuomo in 1988.
John Bugler has a proven track record of success,
plus the "can-do" attitude of a problem-solver.
-
JOHN:
In the Assembly, I want to help both families and local businesses,
with tax incentives for New York State companies that
employ modern technology, such as home-based work-stations,
giving parents a choice of working from home,
and thereby being closer to their children as they grow up.
WOMAN:
Isn't it about time we used our know-how
to stop sending American jobs overseas,
and stop forcing fathers and mothers to choose between a paycheck and parenting?
VOICE1:
Let's start "outsourcing" jobs from office buildings
- to American, stay-at-home Moms!
JOHN:
Thank you in advance, and hope I can count on your support this Tuesday.
God bless you, the state of New York, and the United States of America.
